THE GEORGETOWN HOUSE INN, Washington

The Georgetown House features 11 rooms and a townhouse, each with air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. Every room has a private bathroom with a bathtub, complimentary toiletries, and a hairdryer. Rooms, referred to as 'locks,' may require navigating stairs. Room amenities include free Wi-Fi, free bottled water, premium bedding, and individual A/C units with personal remotes. The Canal House Townhouse offers 2 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and access to a rear patio. There are different sizes of rooms with configurations that include a full, queen, queen with sofa bed and two separate bedrooms.

The Georgetown House does not have an onsite restaurant or room service. Instead, it offers a shared kitchen on the lower level with a refrigerator for guests to store personal items. Guests have access to tea, coffee, and orange juice. Il Canale, an Italian restaurant with an outdoor terrace, is near the inn. You can also walk to Georgetown's restaurants and boutiques, 322 metres from the property. A notable exception is our Canal House Townhouse which has a full modern kitchen.

The Georgetown House offers proximity to cultural attractions. The National Museum of African American History and Culture and the National Museum of Natural History are nearby. The Smithsonian Institution is easily accessible. Martin's Tavern is 482 metres away. The C&O canal, located next to the property, provides opportunities for recreation. The inn does not have a spa.

The Georgetown House is located in Georgetown along the C & O canal. It is 322 metres from Georgetown's restaurants and boutiques. Metrorail Foggy Bottom (GWU) and bus transfers to M-street are nearby. Street parking is available along 31st and M streets, however, not all parking garages are 24 hours. Georgetown offers Federal-style architecture and cobblestone streets.

The Georgetown House operates with a self-serve model. Guests check-in at a kiosk using a unique code for keyless entry. Onsite staff is available from 8am-3pm daily. Luggage storage is available in the common area. The property includes safety features such as carbon monoxide and smoke detectors, a fire extinguisher, a security system, a first aid kit, and window guards. Maid service is offered for stays longer than 3 nights and towel changes are available upon request. An iron and ironing board are available in the Kitchen Area, next to the sink.
